Marek Receives NCCER Accreditation

Houston, TX. Marek Companies recently became an NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor.

NCCER Accredited Training Sponsors are entities that have been approved by NCCER as having the resources to effectively conduct a quality training program that utilizes the Contren® Learning Series standardized curriculum.

“We are extremely proud of this achievement. This accreditation speaks volumes about the quality and effectiveness of our Workforce initiative, launched nearly three years ago. The first step was to build a culture of training/development at Marek, then to certify (generically) the process, and finally, to promote industry awareness and utilization of the curriculum and certification process by all in our trade/industry.” said Mike Holland, Houston Division President, Houston, TX.

NCCER’s accreditation process is the benchmark for quality training and assessments. Its process assures that students and craft professionals receive quality training based on uniform standards and criteria. These standards are outlined in the NCCER Accreditation Guidelines and must be adhered to by all NCCER Accredited Training Sponsors and Accredited Assessment Centers.

NCCER credentials allow for nationally recognized and portable skill certification. Benefits of utilizing the NCCER standardized training process are increased productivity, reduced accidents along with more cost-effective construction, maintenance, and pipeline operations.
